OK, Gandalf, obviously. He's magical and super wise.

Either Aragorn or Ned Stark, for honor and leadership and sword skills. (Wait, if I choose Sean Bean, do I get Ned AND Boromir? Hehe)

Tyrion, for witticisms and randiness.

Samwise, for loyalty and persistence.

Arya, for plucky resourcefulness.
