What did you think of Jim as a hero?

Erin said...: Jim was fine as a hero, but he wasn't especially stirring or interesting to me. He seemed like a generic kid narrator meant to be someone kid readers could relate to. How old was Jim supposed to be? It struck me as a little too unrealistic at times, like when he kills a guy and hardly bats an eye about it.; 12:15 PM, February 07, 2012

Not sure it said his age. I pictured him as prepubescent.
