Romance and sex are recurring themes in this book. What do you think of her using 8-year-old Red as an example of romance? She clearly (from all of her hints in other chapters) had other incidents she could have chosen. Why did she choose Red?
Did anyone else get the feeling that Fisher is probably extremely bossy in bed? Bossy, spicy, aggressive, precise, exacting ... in short, a professionnel.
Also, am I the only one who's never had milk toast? My mom has a particular phobia about soggy bread, so it's not something that she ever would've given me when I was sick.

Hehe.
The story about Red was really cute.

I've never had milk toast. (Or is it milquetoast?)
Milquetoast is a timid, weak person. Milk toast is a soggy bread thing.
